How to make bone broth – the health benefits for a private investor

A person who works for himself, whether he is a private investor or a businessman – needs additional energy and vitamins – for more severe mental and physical exertion. Include in your diet of bone broth – it will make you smarter and stronger.

Bone broth can be made from any bones: pork, beef, lamb, poultry or fish and so on. Such a broth can be cooked not only from domestic animals or poultry, but also from wild ones. The most mild flavor and pleasant aroma is chicken broth.

When cooking bone broth, there is no need to focus on a recipe and exact proportions. It is enough to put a few bones in a pan and pour water. You do not need to pour a lot of water, it will be enough to pour bones with water several centimeters higher.

You will need:

  • Bones, any – enough for your pan.
  • Water, filtered – enough to cover the bones
  • Apple cider vinegar / lemon juice – 2 tablespoons per 4 liters of water
  • Himalayan / sea salt – the taste
  • Spices – black pepper, turmeric and so on, to taste
  • Parsley or coriander-bunch
  • It is also recommended to add neck, cartilage, chicken legs and giblets to the broth.

Vinegar or lemon juice is needed to extract all the minerals from the bones. This absolutely does not spoil the taste of the broth, but even improves its taste.

Greens are added to further increase the content of nutrients in the broth.

Bone broth – this is an independent first dish and the basis for soup or sauce. By the way, the broth is a very low-calorie food. Caloric content of pure broth is only 15-20 kcal per 1 liter.

Method of preparation:

  1. We put bones and giblets in a saucepan, pour water and add vinegar or lemon juice. Stirring and let stand for 1 hour.
  2. Then put on the stove, bring to a boil. Removes dirty foam.
  3. Add salt and spices.
  4. We cook our broth on a very slow fire for at least 12 hours. Ideally – 24 hours.
  5. Ready broth filter. Separate the meat from the bones (if any) and put it back in the broth.
  6. Add parsley or coriander to the prepared broth.
  7. I’m preparing a broth of chicken and mutton bones, which I put on after I clean the meat for Logan.

Here is an indicative list of vegetables, herbs, spices, which can be added when cooking the broth. They can be used in any combination or just one thing. From vegetables to broth you can add:

  • Bulb onions
  • Green onions
  • Leek
  • Carrot
  • Garlic
  • Celery
  • Bell pepper

From the spicy herbs when cooking the broth, you can add:

  1. Rosemary
  2. Thyme
  3. Sage
  4. Ginger
  5. Parsley
  6. Bay leaf

Do not add broccoli, turnips, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, green peppers (sweet), green salad to the broth. These products will make the broth bitter and not tasty.

The broth can be safely stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. To save the bone broth longer, you can pour it over small containers and freeze. Preheat in separate portions as needed.

Health benefits of bone broth soup

Broth I drink 1 glass a day. You can dilute the broth with water, since it is very concentrated. You can also add fresh vegetables, greens, and of course garlic.

Bone broth in my opinion – it’s inexpensive, but very nutritious, which should be a must in every home. So I strongly recommend that you prepare broth once a week, as I do and drink it every day for perfect health, well-being and radiant skin, hair and nails.

Useful substances in bone broth:

  1. Minerals. The product contains calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium. And the components are easily digestible. There are other necessary substances: silicon, sulfur and so on.
